Who Ready for Wordpress 6.0 ?

6.0 is going to convert all our images and all sizes to webp format and store on the disk by default. This is going to increase the web hosting storage size by 30% to 50% and so many developers/bloggers are opposing this move by WordPress.
 
No to local webp, poor people like me cant pay for big fat hosting.
 
I'm waiting to see what it offers on the latest update.

Sounds like we'd better get our tinfoil hats on for this one lol. I might place a bet at the bookies for it to NOT happen, see if they ever heard of WordPress :)

WordPress 6.0 will be the second major release on May 24, 2022. And I am very excited and ready to use it. I hope 6.0 will aim to refine and iterate on the customization tools introduced earlier this year.
 
Very complicated, as many of the current modules do not support version 6.0
 
I just don't understand why the hell Oxygen Builder 4 still won't get released. If WordPress 6 would have some major changes, Oxygen Builder could drop 4 and go on developing 5 directly. :weep:
