Who is your best mentor that inspired you in online/offline marketing? Did you read books, watch videos or such, anything that helped you succeed in IM.

Thanks, J

It was Corey Rudl that got me started in IM. He was never a mentor, but he open my eyes to it.

Well, honestly I am just getting started with internet marketing and plan to open up my first few niche websites pretty soon. At first, this forum as a whole inspired me to begin IM. But I have learned a lot from the AdsenseFlippers team (Justin Cooke and Joe Magnotti) over the past few months on how to start a niche site. At first everything felt so overwhelming, but I've since settled in and found exactly what I want to do.

offline: 7878, wasted, The real Life (No user)

online: Bigbuddy, Wizgizmo, my JV Partners

Read: Always read some wso's not to make the exactly identical same method, but to learn and go forth.

In the end it's about using the best method you self did create and not about how much you read and watch, but rather the summary of what you learnt from all your lectures :)

Mine is BHW Download section. It actually opened my eyes and enlightened my brain --- definitely learned that all that glitters (everyone of those brag-cr@p wso's) is not gold! Saved a lot of money at least! :) Now I can make some, I think, after 4 yrs of this graduation and reading so many books! FREE education, FREE library, FREE books, FREE applications, FREE help, FREE advices and some FREE reviews (and some FREE fun too!) -- It's all here! ...

Great questions!

I got myself started in this world because it's the easiest place for a writer to find work (and writing is what I enjoy doing.) Over the years, I've been motivated and inspired by a number of different mentors and experts. Some I know personally, others I just subscribe to.

One I recommend for anyone to check out is http://RedHeadWriting.com

My best mentor is my father.

Neither Uni or business colleagues can compare to the lessons I've learned from him.

Great Guys, I am glad to see all the responses. I personally have not found a mentor that is why I started this thread. I appreciated everyone's reply. Please keep this thread alive so newbs can get pointed in the right direction for mentorship.

Thanks, J

Tchashow on these forums has taught me all about the force. Too bad understanding and application are two very different things! Thankful for his never ending patience... I definitely need more mentors, would be awesome.
