Who is using SearchTerms Tagging 2?

Does anybody have experience with SEO Booster Pro, it is a similar plugin which i used to use but stopped using it last week as it was causing more harm than good and got my 1 site blocked from Adsense serving.

I do have a copy of this search term tagging plugin somewhere, maybe i will give it a try again

Hey royalmice, exactly same happened with me. I am using Search Terms Tagging + SEO Booster Pro on one of my site and ad serving was disabled on it 5-6 days back. Google didn't say anything exactly about the violations so I am still confused about what exactly caused this.

Nice plugin, but i was wondering, wont it be better to just fix the broken links as some of them might be internal broken links. I use a plugin called : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/broken-link-checker/
It basically indicate all broken links and give you the option to change the link, delete the source post on your site or simply unlink it and a few other handy options.

The 404 to start is a great, but being able to know which links are broken and then fix them is a more permanent solution.

I've just checked GW tools and I suspect very much that SSTT2 also creates a lot of Duplicate Title Tags. Basically I guess how it happens - if you use "Link to post" it creates title tag: Search results for "search term" and links it to several posts. Than G. considers it as a Duplicate Title Tags even though posts are different. Could it affect rankings on a duplicate content issue?

My seo booster was creating too many tags and also many adult content, even though i has a huge list of stop words that i added to the ignore list it simply continued posting adult tags.

For instance i add a ignore word like: Sex, the plugin will ignore all words sex, but the long tails will still get past, so i will have tags like good sex, cheap sex, free sex, young girl sex, and so on...
I tried to clean it out from within PhP My Admin, but i could not keep up with a few 100 autoblogs, thats why i removed SEO BOOSTER Pro.
Just remember that removing the SEO booster does not remove the tags, you have to go into PhP MyAdmin and drop these tables manually : by running this query: DROP TABLE `wp_seobooster`, `wp_seobooster_log`, `wp_seobooster_stats`;
 that will get rid of it for good.

I am sorry for going of the thread topic but what i basically wanted to know is how seo booster pro and search term tagging 2 compared to each other.

Humm, I don't have a 404 plugin installed, just the SearchTerms Tagging 2
and all my links are redirecting to my home page now.
I think something is up with my Theme and this Plugin :rolleyes:

oliva999, As I was saying above, my settings are preventing the 404 errors without another plugin.
All my linked search terms are linked to my home page. (im new to this plugin though)

Here's my current settings:

max search terms: 14
text and code before: "and" after " ,"
convert search terms into links: No
Display search counts for each search term: No
Add list automatically right after post content: No
Save popular search terms as post tags: No
Auto clean up unused search terms after: No
Promote old post with no search engine traffic: No

Maybe these settings could help.
 
Hopefully someone has some thoughts on these 2 things.
I am about to set up this plugin (searchterms tagging 2) on another site.
Had great success on the 1st site :D and I don't even think it was working properly, LOL.


I still need to figure this out:

1) Will this plugin automatically create a NEW posts for new pages based
from the incoming searches? If so, is it the
"Convert search terms into links: Yes, link to post content " setting to arrange that?

2) Would it be OK/fine to keep the search terms on another inner page, rather than
the home/landing page?

I think it is a risk using plugins like these, one of my website is de-indexed few days ago when I removed the widget of the plugin from the sidebar. I was having over 3000 indexed pages and many search terms are ranking no.1, it's great for a while but not anymore as it is de-indexed from google...

One of the bad things that I found is that other people will come to your website and look for those long tail tags and use them to compete with you. It leaves a lot of foot prints on the web, it's almost like a gift to your competitors... LOL!

It can still help you bring in alot of traffic
 
I also use the STT2 and can say that I am very satisfied with the plugin. Linking Words OFF.
 
Im using it with link to search off. But I dont really understand what its supposed to do. Does anyone know?
 
This is an excellent device. I use it all a lot of a while to it does help me to place for some long-tail search conditions that I probably won't otherwise.
