Who is using SearchTerms Tagging 2?

I tried following the instructions provided through the link that you gave and I was unable to find the footprints the author was referring to. I think it is because the author of the plugin has already removed them. I check for the footprint on the lines that were given and there was no footprint. There was no mention of searchterms taggin 2 in the code. The closest thing I found was stt2

Just go to Plugins > Edit > STT2 and ctrl + f search for "Search term"
should be at the "define" lines. When you find it remove the whole line.

The plugin is fine. Just don't overload your page with keywords.

The rating on WP for this plugin is above 4 stars so I can't imagine it being that bad... what is bad is when you build autoblogs, they're screwed whether you use this plugin on them or not. JMHO

Ive been using STT2 for 3 or 4 months on a handful of sites.
Settings:
Max number of search terms: 10
Convert search terms into links: Yes, link to post content (link to search off)
Display search counts for each search term Off
Add list automatically right after post content off
Save popular search terms as post tags on
Auto clean up unused search terms after: 90 days on
Block the following bad words: default list
I only use the sidebar widget. Good results so far, definitely helps on some longtails and common typos. Haven't had any issues.

To all the users of this SEO tagging 2 plugin:
Doesn't this plugin have a setting to automatically create a new post permalink for a new WP post?
I thought that was one of the main features, but I'm not able
to get that to function.
Currently on my site, each new search term shows as a link to the home page.

I have a competitor who is using this to freaking dominate longtail keywords, and it appears it's creating new
post links, even though many of his pages show as a page not found.

this plugin is great, never had any problems with it. just make sure you set it to 10-20 keywords per page and not 100 because it look spammy.

Well it might of been the search page generation thing that dropped one of my sites!
With WP Traffic Tool's Advertisement module you can capture search queries and use them to populate dynamic ads, if you have some other shortcode helping to supply the content generation...
Some time ago I was thinking about hiring a freelancer who would create a plugin for me that would grab and generate a post based on the incoming search term.. but never did.

I install it, forgot about it and i have ranked #1 for a penis enlargement site for over 8 months. I haven't touched the plug-in, haven't modified it and my site has survived multiple panda updates without a hiccup. Its still #1 and hasn't moved. Why should i touch it now?

I am using it but I think it creates a lot of crawl errors (404) in G. webmaster tools. What are the best settings is still not clear to me
If you have alot if 404 errors in wordpress simply install the plugin "404 to start" and it will redirect 404 pages auto to your homepage.
