Who is using Microsoft Edge?

I normally use chrome simply because I’m used to the interface.
Occasionally use Firefox if I need to log in somewhere with no recent cookies being present.

Rarely use edge, mainly because I’m just so used to Microsoft doing browsers badly.
yep that was always it and now you can have all chrome firefox apps is way more stable then all of them is just crazy

I pickedup weird habit of using Edge for work.

wordpress managing, client work, link building etc. it feels smooth, how.. i do t know might be some weird placebo.

but as daily driver im rolling still with Chrome.

microsoft has fucked up on IE so many times that people have lost their trust in any microsoft browser
I found out about edge because windows 10 forced it to install
so far I like it. it's like chrome, but (hopefully) without spyware (fingers crossed)

Tried almost every browser for a specific amount of time, except Linken Sphere. I’m very needy when it comes to design, options, in-built addons, smoothness.

So far, the best for me is Opera. Simply, love it.

Do you pay extra for this?

I am using it for the last few months. The main function I have received is the browser is fast. It was necessary for Microsoft to make a competition with Firefox and chrome.

My browser is Opera because I'm on Android 90% of the time and my Android is made by Huawei, so no Google, no proper Chrome..wait, this is not about Android.
Anyway, regardless of platform, my opinion is this:

Firefox: resource hog, very well said. The main difference is they use their own engine, which can be useful.

Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave and a few thousands others: they all use chromium, so it's a matter of preference, what you want bundled in chromium.

Bing bundle: Edge
Google bundle: Chrome
Crypto wallet + Whatsapp+ .. : Opera
Crypto wallet + AdBlock : Brave

And so on.
Edge's engine was freaking great before switching to chromium, and Google forced them to make the switch just because of that. It's still lighter than Chrome, but lost some points in my rankings.

And why as opposed to other browsers?

Well, it is kind of embarrassing - you see, I got this email yesterday...

Microsoft Edge - now with Blink and V8!

I switched and haven't looked back.

Seriously: Blink and V8 being part of it means the core is the same as that of Chrome, effectively. So, useful for opening multiple profiles/sessions.

Firefox for my usual browsing, Edge is logged into Google accounts, Chrome if I need to do something that's blocked by my privacy plugins in Firefox.

Still using Chrome. I find it very easy as I'm already logged in everywhere, and I just cannot be arsed to switch even though it would probably take 2 minutes to set it all up.
