Seems that you're not into dating/ewhoring stuff...or you'd have seen this strategy in methods on how to
scrape forums,
get emails,
send emails with NO links and 1 picture of an attractive woman,
wait until the noob replies,
send the noob a link to a site where the woman has her profile...
collect the commissions!

There are some tech details that giveaway the scam/spam/or method..whatever! ;)

PLUS..it is not that wrong...to the average offline JOE(or people that dont know this stuff) this could seem legit..but this time he sent the email to an IM-er...that's why it is funny!

Yeah...this is no targeted email spam with suspicious story...conversion rates should be s#it!

oh man, this "method" is so old, i have been seeing these for the last 10+ years
 
Judging by the content of the email, there's a reason why "sucky" grammar works in the ewhoring world.

And it still works today.

Yes..in a weird way it makes it more believable..but one shouldn't go overboard with grammar mistakes! There is a fine line!
