Thank you. Thats correct. Athletes use dope. They should leave them alone let them take it. As someone said earlier they'll always be someone with a new way to do it that isn't illegal yet. The desire to be the best and the physical and emotional pain of pushing yourself that hard make drugs prevalent in all sports. All of them.

That sir is 100% correct. He got fucked hard on that one. This is common knowledge amongst all the athletes.

I will go for Michael Rassmussen in Professional Cycling back in 2002 when he was taking bovine hemoglobin Hemopure

I know this guy does not have the same high profile as many dopers but for years this guy guzzled down an amazing array of performance-enhancing drugs

The equalizer is they all take drugs. If I started taking steroids at 17 it would still take a stack of miracles as high as the sky to become Schwarzenegger or Roger Clemmens. I still respect them as athletes.

This is the way I tend to feel. While I do think endurance sports are different, i.e. running/cycling.
I don't care how strong you are, it takes immense skill to be one of the most dominant pitchers or hitters of all time.

Really no single body or organization ever proved that...

Between 500 to 600 drug tests going back years all negative!

The guy is still innocent until proved guilty, the befuddled and confused USADA have no proof!

They're on a witch hunt with him. He has never tested dirty, end of story. If he had that would be different.

    My choice is Jose Canseco.

I know the game enough to tell you he was doped.

Ben Johnson was not a fall guy. The reason he was demeaned and branded as a disgrace to athletics because he had bragged before the race that after the race ends he will become the fastest man to have ever come and his records will never be broken for many years to come. It was his bragging which made him a fall guy.

It never ceases to amaze me the barrage of disparaging remarks made about Lance Armstrong who after all was hardly given a special winning hand in life when he was stricken with testicular cancer in his mid twenties which rapidly spread leaving his brain riddled with tumors and cancerous lesions. The guy learnt from that harrowing experience how to deal with pain and suffering.

Despite all the BS uttered and made public by USADA they can make all the claims they want and only a very small percentage of people will get brainwashed by their unsubstantiated and inconclusive reports proclaiming they will strip LA of this and that how can they do that – IMPOSSIBLE – USADA are not the governing body in professional cycling UCI are, and as such they are the only legal entity that can strip LA of anything!

Some people are so naïve and gullible they believe what is in the Press or on TV – AMAZING!

make it all legal.. let them do what they want.. race cars use race gas.. so well athletes may need a higher octane diet.

Comments from a guy who knows about the inside track in professional cycling

By EDDY MERCKX five-time winner of Tour de France

LANCE ARMSTRONG is disillusioned and is up against an unjust process.

At a certain point there's a disenchantment that sets in. Lance is saying to USADA: "Do what you want now - I don't care."

Lance was always very correct during his career. What more can he do?

All the tests he's undertaken - more than 500 since 2000 - have come back negative.

So either the tests don't count for anything or Armstrong is legit.

The entire process is deeply unjust.

I think the only way we'll ever see a level playing field in pro sports and allow the evolution of athleticism to continue is to allow doping. It just seems like the natural order of things... bigger, faster, and stronger at all costs.

Some even say Armstrong had too much upper body mass for cycling and it was the chemotherapy that was able to break down all his muscle mass and let him re-build it for cycling...

But I understand professional cycling as a competition in who can take the most pain; a sport for masochists. His cancer was probably good training. Cycling sounds hellish but I respect it.

Some people are so naive they believe that lance armstrong won 7 times the tour de france with only clear water in his bottle. That makes me laugh.

I understand that LA is a hero in USA, but dont tell me he was clean. All the winner of the past 11 TDF were doped. And please dont tell that i'm naive because I believe that a laboratory clearly proved that there was EPO in LA's blood.

UCI is corrupted, LA basically bought everyone.

Jesse Owens might have used a type of meth to help him win the events in the 1936 olympics. Yet no one is willing to talk about the likely hood of him using it,since your considered a racist if you do.
