I probably won't get many reply's cuz Reggae isn't that popular, I saw the who is the best rapper thread and I love hip hop but just wanted to see what other reggae lovers like. Here goes my favorites.

Bob Marley - Of course obvious one there.
Marley Sons - They're all great, I would say Damien is my favorite.
Don Carlos - One of the smoothest voices I ever heard
Buju Banton - Pure Passion in his singing
Barrinton Levy - Another one of the greatest voices I ever heard live.
    Peter Tosh - Rebel
    Black Uhuru
    Yellowman
    eek a mouse
    Pato Banton
    toots and the maytals
    Pinchers

What do you think Reggae fans?

I grew up on reggae music, it's in the fabric of my soul. So of course when I saw your original list, I too wondered whyGregory Isaacs wasn't in that list (RIP). Other than that, your list is pretty close to my favorites. I'll also add:

    Wailing Souls
    Joseph "Killer" Miller (Inner Circle)
    Dennis Miller
    Scientist (Overton Brown)
    Prince Jammy

And some of the new guys:

    Slightly Stoopid
    Rebelution
    The Expendables

If you like a mix of dub reggae, check out this radio station:

Nice, ya I meant to add Gregory but didn't. I like the Cali reggae artists, I love slightly stoopid, I live in Santa Cruz where the expendables are from, love them. Rebelution is good, I would also add Soja and Tribal seeds to that.

Buju Banton - Pure Passion in his singing .... The only Reggae Artist I've ever liked.

"I could go on and on. The full has never been told."
