Tupac is at the top of my list. I'm surprised that more people here aren't naming guys like Jadakiss, Fabolous, Diddy, Cam'ron, Juelz.. East has some pretty good punchline rappers.

Then again, it's all a matter of what style of rap you like.

2Pac overhyped? Then you don't listen carefully to 2Pac's songs.

Ice Cube a true OG? He was special guest last month on Snoop's concert. Guess what Ice Cube said in the end: "What does G stand for?" ..no, not Gangster..Genius! Think about it ;)

No offense but I don't think Snoop is that great probably most overrated rapper of all time. Eminem has to be the best up there with Tupac, and as for the most underrated rappers I would go with Esham and Mastamind, not widely known outside of Detroit but influential to many of todays rappers, without Esham there would be no Eminem he invented AcidRap/Horrorcore genre which was Eminems motivation to start rapping.
