Because I can't save any money any other way.
I have a steady cash flow. It’s just that I spend most of the money on liabilities not assets. I should invest a small portion each month into stocks.Hi, @jefis. I do invest and trade in the stock market. I'm quoting your sentence above because it's best to save up or prepare your emergency fund (at least 6 months worth of your monthly expense) before you invest in the stock market.
I'm afraid that because of his age, he's going to die soon, and then the stock will plummetYou might wanna look into ETFs, as in general even the majority of investment fund managers underperform the market. And keep in mind, this is litterally their profession and they have a huge amount of money and access to some of the best minds in the financial space. So overall you'll have to be pretty lucky to outperform the market.
Also, if you wanna go for a stock: Berkshire Hathaway might be a good option. It's Warren Buffets investment fund which has stood the test of time. If you own stock of Berkshire Hathaway, you're literally investing your money exactly like Warren Buffet does.
Why did you decide to choose Trading212? What about the fees? I thought Flatex is the cheapest option available?I been investing off and on for the last few months, there's huge amount of money to be made/lost with the currently world crisis. Just be careful and you will be fineI use Trading 212
Haha I suppose thats true, but Warren Buffet doesn't have a secret investment strategy that dies with him. He practizes value investing which he has perfected over the years, so I think all the people involved in the company have probably learned a LOT from him, if not nearly everything he has to teach. Yes in the short term Berkshire will probably go down, but whats a 5% or even a 10% drop to an average return of 20% per year.I'm afraid that because of his age, he's going to die soon, and then the stock will plummet![]()
