Who here uses Traffic Scorpion?

The reason i ask is that i have just been sent it from Nicho and i want to edit the template.
Anyone got an templates i can use?
Do you put adsense on them or do you just have links back to your money site?

It beat me. The instructions are vague. I can get to instruction 3. but how the hell do you start it?? and there is no keywords.txt file. how do you click on the 'browse' button?

I got it set up. Yeah the instructions are hard to understand for a noob.

If you do your own keyword search and put it in a txt file you can then use the browse button and click on the txt file where your keywords are.

I really need to sort out some templates to make the sites look nice. i havent put it to the test yet tho.

You have to put your own keywords in a xt file. The you click on browse and locate the txt file.

Had the same problems myself the instructions are terrible, however i did get past step 3. This is what i did though i still have concerns about it.

1. Create a new file TS_admin in your Public directory.
2. Put all the files into the TS_admin file.
3 Create a new text file with all your keywords, one per line, and save it somewhere convinient on your pc.
4. Create a new file also in your Public directory, call it what you like eg scorpion, this is your target output folder.
5. Change the permissions of the files listed in the word document step 3 to 777
6. Open your web browser and type in your websites home page/TS_admin and you will goto the TS admin page. You will then have to enter your login and password which to start will be "admin" for both.
Now try and follow the rest of the word doc. if you manage to make sense of the edit, preview templates then let me know cos i aint got a clue what you do with them.
I am not claiming this is the correct method but the majority of it seems to work though i wish someone would rewrite the install guide because i'm sure i'm missing out on something.
WARNING it might create a new index.html (home page) after you run it so if it does delete this file and all will be well again. my home page is index.php so deleting the html file was no issue but i don't know what happens if your home page is index.html to begin with, maybe it gets replaced? so i would make sure you have a copy of this file as backup before you run it.

There are squeeze pages alll over the net if you put "traffic scorpion" into google you'll find one.
I got it through my an affiliate program I'm currently enroled in for a reduced price, $9, to generate more traffic to my site though i have no idea if its any good or not, its too soon to tell.
As mentioned above the user guide is so vague and quickly written you have to figure alot of the install and operation out yourself, which is a real pity if the product is good cos there is a lot of people slagging it off for this reason on many a forum..

Sorry to dissappoint you, but I don't think things like this work anymore. You can give it a try, but I think you'll be wasting your time.

Several years ago, you could get high rankings in the search engines just by putting lots of keywords in the 'meta keywords' of your webpage. Everybody started doing that and it wasn't long before the search engines caught on.

As a result, the search engines changed their algorithms to compensate. All those top ranking pages fell out of sight.

The next thing that people did was to load their page content with keywords and they were back on top again. They also used cloakers so that the search engines saw the heavily keyword loaded pages while real people saw the normal 'sales' page. Again, the search engines caught on to the trick and the good results the keyword stuffers saw didn't last long.

Now, in order to get high search engine rankings, you not only have to perform good SEO on the page, you also have to get a substantial number of other websites that have links back to your website. Just having a program that tries to fool the search engines is no longer effective.

Look, I've tried just about every trick there is and all the gimmicks don't work - at least not for long.

If you want to get high rankings in the search engines, and the traffic that brings, the best way is to do good SEO on your pages, have unique content that changes frequently and have lots of good, solid backlinks.

I've been in this business for quite a while and during that time I've seen lots of 'traffic methods' come and go. The search engines are getting smarter all the time and if you try using 'old tricks', you're just wasting your time.
