A landing page is definately an important part in the conversion, but how they got to the landing page is an incredibly important factor which you should take into account.

I've had a landing page making loads of conversions when the traffic came from an HQ video, and I've had the same page making shit conversions since the traffic came from an "information" keyword.

Anyways, I can provide solid landing pages (easy to alter), give me a shout if you want.

There are some Good Designers who can Build a Good Landing Page, but depends on what is your Niche.
