I did some diging and that site is owned by NextStarMedia Group & EWC - which is the parent company that owns all those TV news stations. They use that site to push affiliate sales and the bottom of their articles links to that site.

Turns out the media companies are losing money on ads and so they're turning to affiliate ads to generate revenue to supplement the loss of advertisers putting commercials on broadcast TV.

They're investing money in someone writing blurbs - it's not all AI. They're definitely making bank on that site though.
