So Ive been doing a ton of research since getting screwed by a false chargeback on PayPal and losing hundreds of dollars.

I was going to refuse to pay the negative balance, until I found out it gets sent to debt collectors. So I want to pay it off, then open a new "anonymous" paypal account with either a RushCard OR EntroPay; so if false chargebacks happen in the future, I can just walk away with no worry and tell Gaypal to F-off.

So My concerns are:

Do RushCards still even work for PayPal? Is EntroPay a better route?

And when I get the bank account # from RushCard, when I add it in paypal I have to call it a "Chase account" right?

I saw some people saying you should not use a fake SSN when signing up for RushCard or Entro, but that it's okay to use a fake name? Why would fake name be okay but not SSN? And How can you even get the actual money off the RushCard/Entro card if its a fake name?

Thanks

1 It's not illegal to give paypal false information but it may be highly illegal to provide false SS#.

2. Providing a false SS# in transactions will eventually lead to IRS figuring out that the 1099's sent by Paypal does not match their data and will lead to tax complications down the line. DO NOT mess with IRS. They are pretty much the only government body that can declare you guilty first and seize your assets and it's up to you to prove that you are innocent. They are slow, but they will eventually catch up to you.

But paypal will not be reporting any of my income, Im not giving them my SSN, nor a 1099 or any of that. Im staying within the $500 a month limits. My legitmate paypal account Ive used for years never had my SSN and hasnt been an issue

I meant Rush Card, not paypal. The point is you should not be providing fake SS#'s when asked for one because that can create complications down the line.

Okay, but what about the fake name thing? If Rush Card does report my income or something, the name would not match the SSN, isnt that just as fraudulent or no?

giving wrong name to a business is not a crime but a civil matter
