Who Has A "Real" Job?

Since when was working online not a real job? Fucking irks me when my friends and family use that term. They see IM as easy, and that somehow makes it not real. It's as real as any other job. Hard fucking graft.

That's why he use the quotation marks on "real". Everybody knows what he is trying to say.

I've been doing SEO for about 5 years, both agency and in-house. I didn't start until I got a job in online marketing and PR.

Learned about SEO through BHW and found out I had a passion for it and haven't stopped since.

What kind of agency? Are you at one of the agencies that basically glorifiy onpage optimization as a 10K SEO AUDIT?

Just asking because my buddy claims he can get me an interview at one of these places(he wants me to do link building for his site in exchange). I dunno it seems too good to be true. Why would I get paid 40k a year, to be optimizing pages to target local keywords, filling out directories, and basic social media...?

So on this forum there's loads of people that do this for their sole living, however there's lots of people that do this as a sort of "hobby" that hopefully will take off etc.

Was wondering what area of work everyone else is in?

Currently I'm working for an arb company :) with a REAL office. Not just out my bedroom like the old days

Professional Watermelon Seed Spitter - how can i get this work and where do i need to learn smth about proper spitting? :D
