Hi All,

I recently started sending emails using the Standard Plan on IdealSmtp.com.

On day 1 and 2 it looked like everything was going smoothly and I could see in Maxbounty that there were clicks in the affiliate link from the emails.

Unfortunately, it's day 4 today of my sending the campaigns and although I can see in the Dashboard that all the emails from new campaigns have been sent, there is no change in the number of clicks.
It looks like the emails are sent but go to some dark space and don't reach the recipients.

I have already checked if the IP from which the emails are sent is not blocked and it is not.
I filtered my email addresses to use only non-gmail recipients because it was obvious from the start that gmail blocks the IP but I was hoping to have at least some success with non-gmail emails.

Any comments from those of you who had success with this provider would be helpful.
Thanks

To address your email deliverability issue, ensure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are correctly set up, regularly clean your email list of inactive users, and avoid using spam-triggering words in your content. Monitor your sender reputation and consider segmenting your email list for better engagement. If problems persist, contact IdealSmtp.com's support for specific assistance.

Thanks!

Hi Sandie2018,

I understand your frustration—it can be really discouraging when emails seem to send but don’t generate clicks. I’ve seen similar situations with many marketers before switching to a proper SMTP service.

The main issue here is often related to email deliverability rather than the sending service itself. Even if your IP is clean and non-Gmail recipients are used, emails can still land in spam, promotions, or “dark inbox” folders if authentication and reputation aren’t set up properly.

Here’s what usually helps:

  1. Check Authentication Settings: Make sure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are correctly configured. These tell email providers that your messages are legitimate and reduce the chance of emails being filtered.
  2. Segment Your List: Avoid sending too many emails at once. Smaller batches can help maintain reputation and improve inbox placement.
  3. Warm Up Your IP: New sending IPs need gradual warm-up. Sending a few emails daily and increasing slowly helps providers trust your IP.
  4. Use a Reliable SMTP Service: Services like IdealSMTP handle authentication, reputation management, and deliverability monitoring. They also provide analytics, so you can track which emails are delivered, opened, or clicked.
  5. Test Campaigns Before Full Launch: Send test campaigns to smaller groups and monitor where emails land (inbox, promotions, or spam). This gives insights into adjustments needed before full-scale campaigns.

Many users see a dramatic improvement after following these steps and using IdealSMTP. Emails start landing in inboxes consistently, engagement rises, and bounce rates drop.

If you want, you can start with smaller campaigns, monitor them for a few days, and gradually scale up. This usually solves the “emails sent but not clicked” problem.

Hope this helps you get better results!

I’ve seen mixed feedback on IdealSMTP. Some people say deliverability improves and support is helpful, but others claim their emails never reach inboxes and getting refunds is hard. Before going all-in, test with a small campaign, warm up your IP, and have backup options ready.
