I'm slowly turning into a vegetarian, however I have given up most dairy already as well. A lot of this comments contain a lot of misinformation. Being a vegan helps with 3 major issues in this world: Health, environment and the ethical treatment of animals. Also, it would actually help with world hunger as most of the land used to grow food is used to feed animals, instead of feeding us. A lot of water is also used to feed these animals. Another thing, even if you are someone into bodybuilding there are plenty of vegan bodybuilders out there. Just type any of your concerns + "veganism facts" on google and you will get all the answers to your questions. If you would like documentaries you can watch 1. Forks over Knives - for health, 2. Earthlings - related to the ethical considerations, 3. Cowspiracy - environmental facts

Edit: For most vegans/vegetarians, it's not hard at all. There are strong reasons people choose these lifestyles and it weights much more than wanting to taste a piece of someone else. Personally I haven't had meat in a year and a half and I don't miss it one bit for the reasons I stated above. To my surprise, I just went to the doctor last week and my blood test is way better than it was 3 years ago and I haven't really made that big of an effort to make sure I wasn't missing nutrients

Or wear clothes without knowing where it comes from.

This is what annoys me about some vegans and vegetarians.

I was in town shopping a few weeks ago and four or five people were holding a silent protest(they stood there wearing anonymous masks whilst holding laptops showing animal slaughter) about how animals are kept and then slaughtered. I wouldn't have minded expect one of them was wearing boots that were clearly leather!

You can't protest about people consuming animals when you are happy enough to wear the animals skin.

ETA: I sound like a moany old git! ;-)

Do you know why people have eyes to look straight and not like horses?

Well, i will give you the answer...Because they are seeking for pray, just like lions.

I am a vegetarian.Stopped eating meat like 2 years back not because of a million dollars but because a single thought that killing a living creature to fill your plate is not a good idea and have no regrets :)

Have you heard of Law Jungle??

Get in a cage with a lion and let's see if he decides to become a vegeterian.

I could become a vegan for a million easy.

It's not like you'd know if I was lying or not. All I have to do is avoid eating out and telling absolutely everyone I meet that I'm a vegan.

Hehe, I especially love the part about the animals drinking up all the water. I suppose plants don't need water eh?

I know vegans also love to argue so I'll make this quick and then I'm done with this guy/gal.

You are so wrong that I almost feel sorry for you, except that I could really give a shit less. This is the problem with vegans, they are either dillusional from lack of proper nutrition (mainly B12) and the rest of them are just weak minded sheep recruited by the vegan cult masters to help spread their diseased propaganda.

Ecommgirl please do not respond back to this unless it is to renounce your evil vegan ways. I don't argue with rocks, and that's what talking to a vegan is like, talking to a rock.

I find being vegan disrespectful towards our ancestors who died for bringing humans to the top of the food chain.

Guy Fawkes masks. Fucking hipsters wearing Guy Fawkes masks thinking they are part of something big. No hipster, you are just a fucking pot head with no job and no life. Go have a wash and brush your teeth you tramps.
