I have just signed up to Twitter Blue for my business page on Twitter, who else is doing this?

I have already seen a slight increase in impressions / engagement.

Twitter Blue is being verified on Twitter, giving you the blue tick next to your name.

That's cool and all! But this would be irrelevant someday as many will pay for this for such a low price. We will see lots of irrelevant people or business having blue ticks on their username.

Agreed. Defeats the purpose if everyone can get it as cheap as that.
 
I was just thinking about increasing audience engagement after getting the blue checkmark. Thank you for the information that audience engagement has changed a bit. Has anyone heard anything about changes coming to Twitter on April 15th?
 
Whoever wants it and whoever can afford it is getting it. Why so much fuss about it?

not paying and i still have 3 Hollywood stars following me
 
I think soon it will be a prerequisite for getting good coverage. And people will have no choice. + in such accounts is more trustworthy.

It increases impressions a lot and makes replies show higher up so yes, bought it on all accounts that I want to maximize traffic too.
 
The blue side always takes precedence.
This is true on Twitter and on BHW.
 
Yeah but it looks like it has its bad side. Some accounts used for fraudulent activity could take advantage of the blue badge cos it is cheap and mislead people over time.
 
It doesn't provide you anything special, just fewer ads, longer tweets etc. However, if you have at least 10k real followers, you should definitely get that shit
 
Again, longer tweets become available. For some areas this is important. Especially if there are a lot of hashtags. Many people out of habit trust information with blue verification more than without it)
