i have always thought the same way. I am one of those people that avoid ads like the plague. Just remember their are alot of dumb people out there. Just because you would never do it and know alot about the internet doesn't mean they do to. I chalk it up to ignorance.

Heck, I just had to clean up my girlfriends computer because it was cluttered with all kind of crap, from adware to all kind of toolbars and junk she gathered all over the place

a big add it's impossible to avoid that get's your attention. a big local ecommerce site had an error in his system for 2 days. all prices had was cut off with 1 digit. instead 1k lucky people bought the products with 100$.. what do you think?
