I'm starting up a small office of 20 employees to focus on SEO and internet marketing. I need to know how to arrange the management structure and specialization of employees to do the work.

We'll be interested in all forms of internet marketing, including:
facebook and other social network site spamming and marketing
wordpress and blog spamming with xrummer and other softwares
creating linkwheels, doorway pages, autoblogs, etc
manual comment writing in blogs and forums

Can anyone suggest how I should arrange my employees time and management structure? What job descriptions to create? What software I'll need?

I'm new to SEO and most of these marketing methods, and will be learning along with my employees.

I could trade some of my employees time for software, training, and management.

I think you should re-consider hiring 20 employees if you are un-sure what needs to be done by yourself...

I agree. If you are just starting out and you don't have a customer base then you do not need 20 people. If you have the bank roll Then I would only Hire one Person that knows what the heck he is doing for seo. Then I would hire one sales guy to work on commission only.

Depending on the customer base that you are going after for seo will effect how many works you will need to handle your customer base.

If you are going after small business then one guy can handle about 30 accounts a month.

If you are going after the big fish then I would only do 5 accounts per rep.

I would get you one good person and the software you need first before going out and filling a room with 20 people that have nothing to do.

I already have an established company with products that we manufacture and with regular sales. We have about 35 products and a few dozen websites. It's time to expand the marketing. I don't want to outsource SEO work anymore, and there is far too much work for a single employee to do.

I'll be hiring 5 people to start, and have 20 within 2 or 3 months.

Anyone care to offer helpful advice? Other than don't do it?

As for what money I'm willing to spend, I'm based in Indonesia and pay my employees about $200 month. I want to trade their services only (no money) in return for the software and training and managing my staff.

I'm also interested in having people re-sell my employees work. I could profitably outsource them for $5 hour, maybe $4. I can imagine a few hundred employees eventually, with such a setup. But I'd need help with getting clients and training my staff.

Also consider how you could make profit by working with me on this. If you have an area of expertise, such as xrummer, you can train my staff and sell their services to other people. I'm sure most people on this site have at least one area of expertise that they don't have time to exploit for use in selling their service to as many customers as are interested.

Alternately if you are promoting your own campaigns, and have the software and skill required, but not an infinite amount of time, we could work together for profit.

Well, I have my physical office setup now. It's bigger than I originally had in mind, so plenty of room for expansion. Still trying to find qualified employees with great English, here in this city in Indonesia.

Contact me with how we can help each other using my staff - I need training for them and you can use them for your needs.

It's difficult to find people who speak grammatically correct English in Indonesia!

The large office is still sucking up $ for renovation, but it will be comfortable.

Here is how you can make $ from me existing if you are an expert in your field:

I can offer you labor of my employees, in return for your training and managing them. You tell them what to do regarding both my work projects, and your work projects. This would be at no cost to you.

I also have xrummer and a dedicated server, which could be used by you.

Please recommend other specialists in other areas here on BHW who may be interested in this offer, if you know of any that stand out.

The office has room for 60 desks, and currently has 10. I figure I could use 5 specialists who want to leverage their knowledge+labor in return for labor+labor+labor.

I want to lay back and rake in $$$, while you and my workers do the work. If that works for both of us, PM me.

Farfetched, did I mention that I'm not a startup company? I currently have a successful business that now requires a staff to promote it. I'm at the stage where I must do SEO and promotional work in house, and there is enough of it to justify a large staff.

Do you have a better idea for how to train up the staff that I need?

    You sound kinds vinagery, douche.

Farfetched, perhaps you hadn't read the full comment thread, where I already explained that "I already have an established company with products that we manufacture and with regular sales. We have about 35 products and a few dozen websites. It's time to expand the marketing. I don't want to outsource SEO work anymore, and there is far too much work for a single employee to do. "

And what makes you think I have no management skills? You assert assumptions, and from that assume failure. It's not helpful.

Not that it is the concern of the subject of this thread, but my office already has income streams that make it impossible to lose money.

Now, for business minded people who want to make money by offering something of value to trade, we can do business.

Otherwise, ya, I'll be rude again.
