Who can help me? Probably common sense.

Hey guys, first off I appreciate the help in the past and continued. I am pretty new to this world so any advice is appreciated.
I was using JingLing by Flowsoft (Chinese hits bot) to get website hits to IMDb to inflate STARmeter rankings. However, IMDb re configured there website algorithm which now doesn't seem to count these hits. I have downloaded GoTop, Fake Traffic 1.4 by Fatboy, and General Lee's intellegent traffic bot, are these the best options out there? My next question becomes what setting or practices should I use so that IMDb sees these hits as real? is there something I need to do so that the hits get counted by the new algorithm? Is there a way to find out what the new algorithm is?

As far as the proxies go, should I pay for private proxies? Would that be the safest way to go? Or could I get away with scrapping public proxies? Or paying for Simi-Private proxies?

Sorry for all of the questions. I am sure there is a pretty clean cut solution I just don't know that I have the knowledge to see it yet.

I see a lot of people using addmefast and youlikehits for imdb.

This is something that I am trying to do for a group of us. So something like that might not have the scalability that we need.
A program that I have control of would be a lot more predictable as well.

No one has any advice for me? I'm sure this is something that is very much in the realm of knowledge here? I am not doing anything for money that would threaten anyone's business here. Any advice would be really appreciated. thanks!`
