An affiliate nerwork told me: "You bid for traffic and the highest bidder gets the greater volume of traffic."

Ok...so more money i spend, more views i'll receive.

But if they suggest a bid from 0,03$ to 1$, why spend 1$ when you can spend 0,03$ and receive 1000 views?

    I can't understand this...
Of course, if i spend 1$ probably my ads will show for example more times in a day (i believe), instead if i bid 0,03$ probably i'll get something like 100 views in a month... Isn't?

yeah i can explain it. you bid against others for who receives traffic. NEVER BELIEVE THE PPV COMPANY when it comes to how it works and pricing ect. Bid the minimum . . the absolute lowest, then see what kind of traffic you get. I'm assuming you are URL bidding, cause if not and you don't know what your doing . . .your prolly going to lose your pants,.

Each Network is different slightly. for example

Lead Impact (and other similar companies Mediatraffic/AddonNetwork you can bid min around .015 and you will see other bids that are competing. Take that info with a grain of salt. They will most likely fill your order. You can also bid on different countries and at different times on the network to target your audience better

Direct CPV - their bidding is slightly different. You bid some outrage number like $1.08. Of course you never pay $1.08 they scale it up against other higher bidders, no one would pay $1.08 for and impression on that shit traffic. But in DirectCPV terms you top the next guy to be sure you get the best traffic and find out your prolly paying around .08 an impression. That is outrageous btw, and unless you know exactly what your doing, be cautious.

TV - If your asking how to bid I assume your not using TV and sinking $1k into it with a referrer . . correct me if i'm wrong .

Adori - you bid per 1k impressions. So you bid $3 per 1k that is what you get.

The simplest thing to do is bid the min and check your traffic. If you want more traffic do one of the following:

    -add more keywords/urls
-add another network and hit the same target
-lower your time cookie settings (hit target every 12hours/24hours/48hours/etc.)
-change the hours you target them

and last but not least raise your bid.

Keep in mind PPV is shady period. They are not google or msn or yahoo, or 'fill in favorite mildly honest company'. We know how the installs were acquired and we other guys out there are trying to steal their installations. Take it slow, see a profit and hit it hard.

Finally keep in mind. . next to no one posts on PPV here. Its pretty dead, so your best bet is to read old threads and do your own trial and error

    Uhm perfect! Seem all fine...

I'll try with the lowest bid (0,03 x 1000 views) and then, if the traffic sucks, i'll increase it! Thank you so much!
