I mean seriously,I was going through some of the products on ClickBank and was appalled by some of them.How in the hell do people make such ridiculous amounts of money selling this stuff? Seems like only very desperate people would buy this stuff,I do believe that there are a few genuine products on there but I am sure it would be very hard to rank for their keywords. :confused::wt:

Snake oil was popular back in the olden times, and it still has an appeal! But some of the products are top quality (Long Tail Pro for example). It's best to promote something that you've actually tried, and would recommend to your friend/family/pet dog.
 
Most of the products on Clickbank are terrible. This is why it is getting harder to sell Clickbank stuffs.
 
Ye most are fucking awful, its why it has a high refund rate.
 
I guess my answer would be, who cares?
As long as it sells and stays sold, then happy days. However, I see where you are coming from...There is one I saw that shows you how to reverse Alzheimers...Purleeeeze!
 
I remember some of the first money I made was a PIN submit for a crappy app that was going to tell you when you die.
I didn't even use that as a content locker, that was the whole offer, I was promoting PIN submits directly and people paid to find out when they're going to die, according to an app.

Thats what I was thinking as well,plus it seems like ranking for any of their products would be very hard considering its pretty saturated.Either way,screw it I'm going to try and set up a site and do some keyword research.
 
Never underestimate the stupidity of people and the shit they will waste their money on.
 
I don't believe in selling snake oil medicine, but if you create a valuable product, you can earn even more ridiculous ammount of money.

Walmart is full of stuff that is 95% crap...they seem to make it work
 
There are desperate people who would buy anything just to lose 20 pounds or to get rid of those acnes.
 
I had the same thoughts OP. I try to promote only things that I would spend my own money on. I don't use cb much at all, but every now and then I'll find something that gives me a little inspiration.
 
i mean most of this is absolute trash but in the real world most of the products are trash too. think about how many stupid books harry potter has sold. think about a pair of sneakers, nike can charge idiots 300 for jordans and they buy them, when all you need is a 50 dollar pair.

without a doubt, clickbank sells so much trash but people eat that up. i know we are not the average idiot who buys stuff but thats because we are most likely broke if we are on this site. think about the soccer mom in middle america whos fat and her husband hates her but she has his credit card so she buys weight destroyer and it gives her some hope.

Remember the late night TV commercials during the 1980's? I used to wonder who the f'k bought those too.

The offline world simply migrated online. There are buyers for anything.
