Lots of tools like Senuke, Scrapebox where not meant for black hat, a lot of people simply misused it.
It's like guns, they are good and bad, it depends on the hand it fall into.
Another tips of the iceberg, SEO is a very expensive business, you don't expect to get quick ranking by running multiple SEO softwares on some crapping sites or pay $99 and expect to be on the SERP in 30days and still maintain it for long, it's total unseriousness. It's not weird to pay $1k+ for a monthly SEO...
I implore you to think long term..
And also, even when you run this tools which i do mainly for diversification and a few other stuff, you will still need to manually do some works and also buy high pr links which can cost $150 per site or more.
