So I'm trying to build a local niche website, and I'm trying to make it mostly whitehat. That means name, address, phone number on every page. I also buy a 100 link package for local directories and submit to Google Places, the whole nine yards.
Anyway, half a week later I get a call from a call center coming from "Hollywood, CA." And this lady (in very poor English) starts pitching ME SEO services! Saying how her company can get me to #1 in search engines.
I told her I didn't want her shitty xrumer and scrapebox blasts, and that I could rank a site 100x better than she could or her boss could.
Just goes to show what happens when you try to build a site legit.
