Whitehat SEO Blog advice

Hi, I have an new Blog with an is ranking for 10 Keywords atm. Each of my Articles include one Picture. But at the momment I has to buy every Pictures for arount 2-3 $. So what happens if i don't add an Picture to new Articles? Does it affects on SEO? Does it rank better with Pictures?

Or where to buy cheaper Pictures witch allow me to put on my website without Backlinking or such a thing?

You won't necessarily lose any SEO value from not providing images. The thing with images is that it is one extra avenue to optimize the page for your target keyword. For instance you can make the file name of the image your target word, add it to your alt attribute, etc. By not having the image there, you miss out on the opportunity. That is a marginal improvement though.

what's wrong with simply using images from google?

If you use new images to famous people I think gettyimages.com is for you. I it is too expensive just replace the images with free ones.

Just rip em off the search results mate. Don't use obviously branded or corporate media. If you're really worried about it look up public domain images. Also its good to mix up your content. Some with images, some without, some with videos, some without... that's good for the reader also. You don't want every post to be a cookie cutter clone of all the rest.
