White SEOed landing page doesn't rank at all

Hi,

I have done lots of back-linking as well as on site SEO but my page which is actually a Wordpress category containing 23 unique written posts targeting a single keyword does not rank on google, not even among top 100. It's been at least three months since I've been waiting for big G to rank that page, but no luck. I'm not a beginner but I'm not an expert. Honestly, I'm desperate and I need your help. This is something that might help other people too. Aside note, the page rank of that page is 4 and I guess it is not penalized because some other pages ranks well.

I will not be posting the website address according to the TOS of this forum but I'll PM per request.

If anyone is willing to help I would really appreciate to share back to this forum explaining in details what was the problem. I really have no idea what to do. Please help.

I can take a look for you, I'm guessing its not just that its highly competitive as you said you're not in the top 100 at all but PM me and I'll see if I can figure it out if you want.

Guys without sharing the url would you mind posting the conclusions publicly so the rest of us can benefit?

Thanks a lot for your reply, I enjoyed reading your post! Anyway, I think it's too general to help me solve my problem, I just don't know where to start. Something is clearly wrong, the keyword is not to competitive, the site is not black listed and is decent optimized, nothing special but can't get even among top 100 - that's just weird. I bet something is really wrong with that but I just can't figure out what is it and need your HELP.
 
I don't think three months is long enough for the ranking. Wait six months and keep doing what you are doing but with more keywords.

I made a backlink analyzation on your site and I can say your backlinking is poor.
about 50 backlinks which only 1 really benefits you.
also I made a keyword research for you, and I can say that the keyword that your trying to rank for is hard to rank.

Would you mind send me the PM? Anyway, you might be right but how it turns out the page gets PR 4 with 50 poor back links - higher rank than home page? I know it means nothing but it's just weird, isn't it?

Everything that is new, is weird.

PR is not the only factor on backlinks, the total amount of links that the backlink page has is is a critical factor.
the page with the backlink that really benefits you has 6 total links, as for your other backlinks, their page has 40+ total links.

by calculation the PR 2 link that benefits you the most, has a 3.5 times bigger link value then your second best PR 4 link!!!

what I would suggest you to do is make a another keyword research, why? because your keyword is quite hard! after that do blackhat-seo. why? its 2 AM here Im to tried to explain, lol.

Update: some of the pages ranked on the second page do not have any external links. I just can't believe I'm not getting among top 100 at least even I do have poor backlinks.
 
Screw Google! Get social!

Automate a tumblr to post luxury photos. You'll have 1,000 quick. Throw your click through here and there to your site.. Then start throwing in images of diamands with back links.

oh yeh, dont forget pintrest. And many accounts!
 
Are you trying to rank the category page, or pass link juice down to others?
If you want to rank that category page, you need to have something more than just a meta description
to differentiate it from all of the other pages. As of now, not much is keeping it from being duplicate content.
Also one keyword is used 96 times, your main KW being used 29 times.

Try deleting the first KW phrase that starts off each post title.
If possible re-write snippets for category page so there is no duplicate content.
May have to change some code..
