Any give any recommended services, guidelines or threads about safe ways to get backlinks indexed? I have bunch that are taking an eternity to show up in Google.

Well, if you are white hat, you just sit and wait patiently until it indexed naturally )
You can submit map to google, you can use indexing services, you can add backlinks on your backlinks.

You could post the links to separate Google+ accounts or Twitter to help them index faster.

the free ways are pinging, building links to your backlinks, posting on social media

if you can afford to pay and have all done automated for you then you can look for an indexing service. There are couple here in the Marketplace

DON'T: ping and create RSS feeds. That's is a really awful out-of-date way of getting your links indexed, which doesn't work these days at all.
In terms of time invested compared to % of links you end up getting indexed its a lose lose situation

DO: The most effective way to get your backlinks indexed is by building extra links to them (that can be links from social networks, communities, forums, other authoritative popular sites etc.)

That will not only get them indexed but it also adds extra authority and weight.

You can try "Content Marketing" strategies. And make sure keep in mind you can build effective backlink strategy.

You can create and build Infographics, Ebooks, Whitepaper, article marketing and blog marketing etc.

i have some web 2 links with unique content and made some backlinks to it.
some of the web2 are already ranking in 4th page but, till now its not showing in ahrefs. so, if it doesn't show in ahrefs does it help my site in ranking?
