White/Black Hat SEO Consultant

Hey guys,

Has anybody used a SEO cosultant to do both white and black hat? Been going through the forms and learning a lot about different techniques but want to make sure I am heading in the right direction. If so, what has been your experience and any recommendations would be highly appreciated.
