whish best , external or internal backlinks ?

i would like to creat new website in competitve keyword , so do you think sending external backlinks is better than internal backlinks or not ? and why ?

What do you mean by external backlink and internal backlink?

Isn't a backlink always come from an external source?

They both 'work', it's just that Google gives them different weight.

IMHO, an external backlink is given more weight than an internal one. OTOH, internal links are easier to build (you can/have to do it yourself).

If you use WP, there are several plugins that can build internal backlinks for you. (Google it.)

PS. If by 'competitive keyword' you mean 'weight loss' or 'dog training' - you're gonna need a helluva lot more than some backlinking!

Work on external backlinks 90% of the time.

If you find that one page on your site has really good page rank then do an internal link from it (with appropriate anchor text) to a page on your website you want to rank better or get more traffic.

WP handles all of the internal backlinking for you. I really love WP.
