Which WP plugin for a membership site?

Hello BHW!

I want to set up a membership WP site to manage some pages with paid content.
Which WP plugin would work for me?
I don't want to pay a monthly subscription for something like memberpress

I use Memberpress. It has pretty much all one need.

One of the best plugins. Used it for my client Saas platform.
If I'm not mistaken, it includes setting up limited access to content/pages by default

What if I'm not using WooCommerce?

One of the most established plugins with constant development and lots of integrations is WishList Members.

If you not used WooCommerce, you can't use this plugin. Because it's extension of Woo. But to use it, you just need to install WooCommerce with basic settings. In any case, it is much more convenient than using third party plugins, because it uses the basic functionality of Woo, respectively less problems with integration.
Of course, you can look at other plugins, maybe their functionality will be enough for you

I only have good things to say about zlick
for me its super lightweight, easy to install and most importantly free (you pay a commission on sales )

I am using paid membership pro and it has basic functionality if you want to start.

Later on you can install addons that will provide you more settings if you need.
