It's my first ever real website (wordpress.org, self-hosted) that I created years ago. I've been wanting to change the theme for over 6 months, and since I just broke up with the (ex) girlfriend a few days ago, I think I'll jerk off to this now.
The theme I have on is OLD. It hasn't been updated in about 5 decades. It's slow, it doesn't look good on different devices and mobile devices. I've messed with it quite a lot too, so I probably messed it up even more. Plus, it's a theme meant for an affiliate site, not a blogging site, which is how I'm using it.
Anyway, I've decided to change the theme, get something updated that's fast and looks good on different devices and everything, but I'm not sure which theme to get. It must be FREE though. Either a free wordpress theme, or a paid one I can download from the Downloads section on BHW. I'd like to maintain pretty much the same design/structure of the site.
The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to go and test out different themes and spend the whole day adding/removing themes trying to find the one that works, only to find one that I like and realize it's incompatible with Yoast SEO plugin or something or other.
The site is wordpress.org, so I'm looking for a wordpress theme.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
