I don't know if OP just meant SEO plugins, but yes WordFence is a okay plugin. I personally prefer iThemes Security, and either WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache myself.

The less plugins the better.
When I use wordpress for a site I wish to rank (HTML is better if you can code), I usually go with these three:
Yoast SEO
W3 Total Cache
Wordfence
However, they all need to be setup properly for maximum effect. W3 Total cache can be quite tricky (especially if you screw up settings from the first try). Google for a tut, theres loads.
Wordfence also has a crap load of additional processes you don't need (that slows your site down) so look for a tut to setup the bare minimum for spam protection.
I'll also install Smush.it to optimize images once I've completed the framework of the site but then uninstall it again after use.

But i look for a plugin which does the same, anyone has a idea.
Since i own an self managed root, i dont need any "speed" plugins like w3 total cache, my pages gets optimized and then cached anyway.
