Which wholesalers to trust?

Hey BHW, first thread here.

I've been interested in starting up an ebay/classified ads business for a while now and have started the research phase of my endeavour. I've found a few items that look to have good potential, only problem is I don't know which wholesalers to trust when buying these goods.

I have problems trusting sellers on sites such as alibaba/dhgate/tradetang, I've heard the horror stories and have been scammed before myself, from what was said to be a "trusted seller/gold member".

So basically I'm in need of some "pro-tips" on how to weed out scammers, and find the honest sellers. What questions to ask and any other helpful information.

you just need controk your money once you place order .before you order , you can pay small order to get sample . once you confirm ,you can choose paypal payment .If products is not suitable ,you just ask refund .it's easy .Or you can find one serious partner in China who can work with you and help you control quality and choose suppliers .

You could go many ways:

-> You could find yourself a wholsesaler on ex alibaba as you said
-> Or you could get a company like DealExtreme that offer Dropshipping services. At least with them you get the items with included posting and droppeshipped (no label from DX), and you dont risk getting scammed.
