Wanted to promote hostgator, but i read a lot of you were scammed by their "affiliate program" ...

    Description:
Our site offers innovative free website designing for Hungarian start-ups and small businesses. The purpose is to promote their companies. Our Premium services include SEO, advertising on weboldalingyen . com, marketing, and other extra content on websites such as a forum, social media integration, blog-like interface, etc.
Although we don't charge customers anything for free designs, we are going to promote a web hosting company. They host servers for an amount of money/year declared by them, which we, weboldalingyen . com doesn't cover in our free design service.

Hungarians are poor, so we need a cheap and quality service (like hostgator :'( ) and they have to pay well. Also we don't want to keep our money back like 60 days. Thats a LOT lol. Rev-share would work for me too.

    so:
    -cheap and quality service
    -not scam!!!!!
    -pay well
    -dont hold the money back

    Anyone ideas?

    Hey,

I haven't promoted them actively, but I solely use inmotionhosting. They're not the cheapest, but from all webhosters I used so far, I had the best experiences with them, and not a single bad one (use them for about >2 years now). I'd promote them if I would work in that niche!

    warm regards,
    neo

ENDURANCE INTERNATIONAL GROUP is one of the largest web hosting companies which holds some of the most popular hosting brands - hostgator, bluehost, hostmonstee, fat cow, ipage, justhost... It ain't gonna be much better if you promote any of these. Try to find some smaller hosting company, with good reputation here, and on webhostingtalk, test them for a month and see how things are going.

take a look at Uberpsace. you can pay what you want minim 1euros as long as you stay in the 10Go diskspace and 100Go traffic and they are cool guys with kick ass support.

But you nee to know SSH it's a little a techy hoster.

For a few site with not such much traffic it's perfect. I put 1 site per account, the one where I blew up 100Go they didn't make me pay more as I choose to pay 12 euros month for that one ( because of the quality, support,etc..)

I would suggest hostdime. That is not because I am also promoting them, but because I have been using them for over 2 years now. Check them out too.

Hostgator affiliate has scammed me believe it or not. It was pretty low life scamming i must say. They lied about payment for only $100. LOL.

Sounds crazy? I still have the logs where they said "we have sent the due balance to xxx@yyy.com" and it never came. ;)

Like the Volkswagen group hooking up popular super car brands, Audi, Bugatti, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Porsche. A group controlling a large percentage of a market is not proportionate to sub-par products, not that you implied that but it's more like along the line of one player holding all the cards.

I too advocate testing out smaller hosting companies here on BHW, try them out, most of them have affordable basic plans to address this need. Reason is, the hosting companies on BHW get a sizable percentage of their clientèle from the forum, and would do their best to uphold a sound reputation.

On the flip side, the popular hosting companies don't have that kind of commitment, as fat advertising budgets will always lead to more customers no matter what your experience may be.

As regards promotions, I could say go with any of the industry biggest, there are horror stories but many a times people flock to the beating drums so having a way to benefit from these people is worth the risk.

Be it as it may, I'd ask you to look through hostingwinds, they have a thread here on BHW and you can contact them via various channels to make your inquiries.
