which web hosting should i use

i have seen several web hosting providers listed on bhw
i am thinking of either using host the name or hostwinds
and will be using the bhw coupons they offer
i will be getting a shared basic plan to start with...
... and upgrade as i build my network of websites
which one is better to start with?
which one is better to deal with?
host the name? hostwinds? or any that you recommend?
please dont bring up hostgator...
... im dont trying 2 work with the google of web hosting

I've been with hostwinds for about 4 months and have yet to have a problem, fast load times. Have not tested their customer support base but I hear its pretty good from other members. Nice prices as well, worth a try
 
i have an account with hostwinds. i bought when they launched the promo here at bhw. i used the coupon and until now the service have been good and every time i needed support was helped. they even offered whcms so... the standard whcms almost pays the host service.

what do you mean by "until now"?
 
Both are great companies to host with I have heard similar good reviews from both companies, honestly it comes down to price after specs and setups are too similar to disseminate.

Which one can you get the best price at? Or which one offers the best coupons?
 
its hard to pick a good hosting nowadays, specially with big and "reliable" hosting that sell your ftp pass to hackers that redirect your websites through google and other search engines in htaccess files. Happened to me twice and they blamed it on my websites being outdated or something and suggested few security companies ))). The point is to use small private hosting and easier with BHW owners.

Just make sure you let them know if you have tons of traffic, that way they dont shut you down unexpectedly. Also if you have adult traffic you might want to ask a question. Finally if using it for mass emailing you might also want to ask
 
i would recommend bluehost ,i am seeing them from ages.They are leaders in providing best web hosting.I had my domains at ipower.com,they are also best ,never had any problem with them

i'm thinking to move few websites from my hostgator account to dreamhost (no limit on bandwidth and size)

... the only minus - they haven't got cpanel and live chat support isn't available for basic accounts
