Hello, BHW I've been researching several hosting choices for projects, ranging from VPS and cloud configurations to inexpensive shared hosts. While some services are reliable, some are sluggish or experience outages . Inquiring from the community: Will you continue using shared hosting or switch to dedicated or VPS hosting? Are there any affordable hosts who are truly trustworthy? Or, for greater control, do you like cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.)? Before I commit, I would love to hear about your actual experiences.

Thanks to server optimization for multi-site configurations, you can run multiple projects simultaneously with guaranteed RAM and SSD resources. This helps you avoid performance issues. hostpro.com demonstrates good scalability in this regard.

personally using contabo vps with cpanel to host my websites with cloudflare cdn. simple setup no bs.

Personally use VPS my website with cloud flare. It's easy and simple.

Most of my clients use Shared Hosting with cPanel for ease of use .

Small projects can benefit from shared hosting but larger ones require more control and stability and the cost of VPS or cloud setups often depends on the amount of flexibility and uptime required

I've been using DigitalOcean for 10 years and have never had any issues.

I recommend contabo vps, they are very good quality.

Look into Hetzner for low-cost high-performance servers, then look into cloudpanel and WordOps for provisioning WordPress installations

I've got a project here that I don't have the balls to manage myself, so I'm going with Rocket.net as they've only improved ten fold since I've used them and I've never had services provided at their quality

Indestructible, Rocket.net are indestructible and every one of their staff members are lovely people

I used to use Hostinger, but after a certain amount of traffic for websites that make a lot of PHP requests, like e-commerce, I stopped using it and created my own VPS at home. :v. If it's for static websites, I recommend Hostinger.

I use unmanaged dedicated servers. Windows for software and Linux for websites. I don’t like VPS or shared hosting. Both are oversold and result in subpar performance ime

vps is good enough to start a project, but once when you scale, a dedicated server will be best

I've been with GTHost.com dedicated hosting for 8 months and already I can tell I'm going to stick around for a while. They are just amazing.
The data centers are top-tier, ensuring excellent speed and reliability for my website. The hosting solutions are professional and easy to use.

I am still using shared hosting but me websites get limited traffic.

I think a lot of people are looking for the “best hosting”, but no such thing really exists. Some people have low-traffic, non-critical services so spending less like on a shared host works well.

Dedicated server is on the other end of the spectrum, but it’s not hands-off. Have to do security updates from time-to-time etc.

VPS’s are in the middle, but still have some risks due to possible issues with noisy neighbors etc.

As for my situation, I was using AWS Lightsail (VPS) for a Wordpress installation, and recently moved to a large competitor of theirs, and so far so good.
