Which web hosting has the best affiliate program?

Hi there,

I'm thinking about promoting web hosting.
Don't know which web hosting is best to promote and get big commission
I've heard bad thing about host gator affiliate program so far.

What have you heard bad about hostgator's program? I had no problem getting paid by them, though I admit I've never sent them a large amount of signups. I ask because I see folks around here recommend their program pretty often.
