I like Wordpress & Blogspot.
 
I usually use Wordpress, Tumblr and Blogspot. Work best for tier building.
 
I've used Wordpress, Livejournal, Blogspot, Tumbler with success.

They work well enough to obtain URL/brand name/generic keyword anchors and/or NF links

And you can easily rank long tails with them, if you know what you?re doing
