Blogger, as it's owned by Google and they probably have some script which indexs blogger blogs almost instantly, or puts them to the top of the list, maybe even have a separate server (Probably) just to spider blogger blogs.

How do you get blogger to rank so well & how soon are the
blogs indexed.

There's another thread that is similar & one guy is
having trouble ranking with blogger.

Getting blogger blogs to rank well, is like getting any other website ranked well, the differnce is that blogger is owned by Google, therefore will be indexed faster and may have more PR updates then other websites, if you want to rank highly, you've got to do the normal stuff, link building, keywords etc.

blogger, hubpages,Squidoo, wet paint & Quizilla index quickly to me in fact hubpages indexs the same day to me.

hubpages + squidoo never works for me. quizilla does though as well as slideshare + slideboom + Docstoc.com

i usually just mturk off 1 blogger, 1 hubpages, 1 squidoo, and that seems to get me indexed next day.

You can get all of them easily indexed if you build links to them, try social bookmarking them.

Using targeted keywords as the titles, link building can help boost the SERP for those keywords.

HubPages is one of my favorite..Its gives much more weight to my site..

HubPages and Quizilla are the fastest for me, then wp and blogger.

Is there a thread about which of these allow affiliate links and which do not?

It would save time having to read their terms and conditions one by one, if we knew in advance.

For example, Hubpages is 'no follow', so I assume that's only useful to get a high ranking - not for passing link juice (unless there is a way to bypass the new user restriction). But does Hubpages allow Affiliate links?

Wordpress and Sqidoo seem to be quick at being listed, plus they pass link juice (using the do follow WP plug-in).

my blogspot blogs have been up for days, have used senukle to bookmark them and such and the are still not indexed.
they had 2 links to my money site at most so i wonder if maybe i am just having bad luck, i have seen zimbio seen immediately as a backlink for my site and nothing else.

Scribd.com from my experience. My document was indexed in 30 min.

I heard that if you use affiliate links in a wordpress.com
blog they will delete it is that true.

Wordpress and Sqidoo seem to be quick at being listed, plus they pass link juice (using the do follow WP plug-in).
