Agreed. If you have a lot and/or just holding, I’d also recommend a cold wallet.

Thanks guys
I want to trade with my BTC !
it's not just for hold ...

I'd recommend a ledger nano s; but if you're looking to trade stick to holding it on the bigger exchanges e.g. Coinbase, Binance, etc.

GDAX has insurance. Ledger has already been stated. I would also say Exodus is easy and quick but don't convert on Exodus it's to expensive. Send back to the exchange to trade it out.

Thanks guys

Thing is keeping money on exchanges is the easiest BUT you should consider that those exchanges can get HACKED and if they do your money is gone. This has happened multiple times in past. Thing with crypto is to be your own bank = not to give others permission to hold your crypto. Thats why people use wallets and don't store crypto on exchanges for hold.

You have multi coin wallets that integrate exchanges such as shapeshiift for ease of use, but then shapeshift can have high fees if you are trading large sums.

If you can afford, buy hardware wallet. If not don't go for online wallets such as holy transaction, blockchain.info etc. but instead opt for software wallets.

For mobile(IOS/ANDROID) use, I'd recommend coinomi as they support plenty of crypto and on top of that you can set your own fee, sign messages etc.
For desktop multicoin wallet: Exodus, although Exodus lacks of advanced features.

There are other wallets such as JAXX, although I know they had problems in the past which is why I wouldn't advise you to go with them, not sure if they fixed the issues, might be that they are okay to use nowadays as well.

DON'T FORGET TO MAKE BACKUPS AND DON'T LOSE IT!

Keep in mind that neither Exodus nor coinomi are OPEN SOURCE but should be okay to keep your money, I've been using coinomi for quite some time without any issues so far. Although If you are using software wallets you have to make sure to not install 3rd party shady apss, such as for IOS/ANDROID to install applications that are not in official itune/play stores etc.

Is everything synced properly? Also, do you have enough funds to cover the fees for the transfer? Never had an issue with Electrum to be frank.

Try to import the wallet to a desktop version of the electrum. See if the same thing happens there too. If it does, something must be wrong. If you PM me a screenshot (please hide all the sensitive info) of how much you have, how much is the network fee and how much you are sending, I might take a look.

If you don't control the private key, then you don't control your coins. So that applies to almost every online wallet like localbitcoins and blockchain.info

If you want to trade, then send the coins to a reputable exchange. But remember, they can be hacked from there.
