I've been on shared hosting with namecheap for a while now but lately my sites have been really slow. I want to finally switch everything over to a VPS. Which VPS provider should I go with?

I looked into IONOS because it comes with Plesk and the price seems pretty nice but I've read some bad reviews here. Anyone currently using them?

IONOS ain’t a good place to go bro. Read bad reviews on here about them. Better u choose another. What about godaddy or hostgator. Lots of luck.

Which panel do you guys recommend? Cpanel, Plesk, or can I go with a free version?

You don’t need a panel. There are many options but I personally like Vultr and OVH.

OVH has the best VPS for the $, but they do not tolerate free speech which is why I suggest pairing it with a reverse proxy like VanwaNet

If you can manage yourself than digitalocean or google cloud

If you want managed vps then a2hosting

I highly recommend not using NameCheap. Terrible value for the price, and especially as you said recently.

OVH has the best VPS prices IMO

Regarding panel, have you considered DirectAdmin?
Many providers provide it with VPS either bundled free or for a cheaper price than buying directly from DA direct so long as it is used within only their infrastructure.

If you are comfortable with Linux, you can get unmanaged VPS from DigitalOcean or AWS for cheap. But remember, you will be pretty much on your own. You can install any open-source panel and get the job done.

OVH has a sister company called Kimsufi. All billing is through OVH and the servers live in the OVH data centers. The cost of these servers is incredibly cheap and the quality is great
