If you want to go killer big on Visual effects then Adobe after effects but if you want efficiency and speed then Sony vegas pro should tick all of your boxes.

For me Ezvid is the best one....you can upload your video to youtube easily..
But now its hard to download it...

I like Adobe Premiere. It has a steep learning curve though. If you can do photo shop really well than learning premiere is pretty easy.

I use a mixture of two. Camtasia and Videomakerfx. Got big plans for what I'm going to be doing with Videomakerfx!

Camtasia studio if I'm recording a video tutorial. Sony vegas is good for beginners who don't need too much stuff and effects for their videos and want to keep things simple. After Effects is for more advanced videos and for making some really catchy and converting stuff.

I use Corel, it's pretty user friendly but doesn't have a ton of features :/

I personally use Sony Vegas and After effects. I moved on to Sony Vegas after using WMM for about a year and I found they're very similar. I could understand the Sony Vegas layout with out having to spend a lot of time watching tutorials simply because I could take what I learned from using WMM and apply it to Vegas. You have more control over editing your footage and audio with Vegas, and it comes quite decent VFX's that come with the default suit.

Using the Adobe Suit however (Premiere, After effects, Photoshop and all the rest) Is extremely powerful because they're interconnected, easily compatible with each other. After effects is without a doubt the most potent software for video editing, abundance of tutorials and plugins there's almost nothing you can't figure out to do through a simple Google search.

But it all depends on the videos you are making, I would personally recommend using Vegas.
