I am wondering whether the SEO traffic is good or the social media?

you can be successful with both, but imo SEO traffic is better for a blog; for social media, just do social media, no need of a blog if you have social media traffic; like a FB fan page itself does not need a blog.
 
Organic traffic with buyer intent is good for conversion
 
Any type of real human traffic is good if you know how to monetize it.
 
You should ideally target a mix of organic and social media traffic. You can also try paid promotion to drive traffic to your blog.

the question is to vague, the answer depends on the goal
 
both traffic is good
but are you using Adsense social media is not a better choice
