Good day guys,

Both niche edits and guest posts can be effective, but each comes with different challenges.

Niche edit difficulties:

Finding a highly relevant existing article
Getting the site owner to approve the link
Finding a natural place for the link
Dealing with high prices
Checking whether the existing page has real traffic and rankings

Guest post difficulties:

Finding quality websites that accept guest posts
Getting a response from site owners
Creating unique and relevant content
Negotiating price and requirements
Getting the article published and indexed

My question:

For those who have done both, which is harder to execute successfully niche edits or guest posts?
What part of the process causes you the most difficulty?

Guest posts are harder in my opinion ,because you have to negotiate with a lot of website owners in order to be featured on their websites.

For me, guest posts take more overall effort simply because of the content creation. You've got to pitch the topic, wait for approval, write a solid piece, then make sure it actually gets published and indexed. It just eats up a lot of hours in the day.

Niche edits are faster to execute once you secure the spot, but finding an existing, high traffic page that perfectly matches your link is the hardest part of the whole process. Nailing that exact relevance is tough and site owners often overcharge for it.

Overall, guest posting is more heavy lifting on the creation side, while niche edits are purely a hunt and negotiate game.

For me niche edits take more effort because finding a genuinely relevant page with real traffic and a natural link placement can be difficult Guest posts are usually easier to scale once you have reliable sites and outreach contacts

Difficulty comes in when good of money is asked for a link placement. Guest posts and Niche edits which are free takes less efforts.

I'd say guest posting seems like it takes more effort overall finding a good website writing relevant content and waiting for approval feels like a longer process i am curious to hear which part others find the most challenging

For me, niche edits are more of a headache. Finding the right existing page and getting a natural placement can take way more digging than writing a guest post.

bro both are tough but guest posts win the difficulty award lol. niche edits are annoying but at least the content exists. guest posts? you gotta create everything from thin air. respect for doing both - you're a true link building warrior. keep grinding.
