Experienced marketer relatively new to dropshipping.
System #1: Niche Store with 12 products to begin, and about 36-48 to come as I scale
This system would require me to buy in bulk then ship the items myself as they sell.
Average cost of item + shipping to USA: $2.90/item
Average price tag of product: $21-26
Notes: Very nicely niched store. I'd expect some customers to buy two or so items as I'd offer free shipping on orders over $40.
System #2: One product store with very good branding
Product would dropship directly to the customer. Almost all customers would only buy one of the item.
Average cost of item + shipment to customer: $30
Price tag of product: $71
Notes: Simpler system with a lower initial investment.
Takeaway
System #1 has more potential, but system #2 is also a good product that might make my entrance into dropshipping more simplified.
