you could use libvips there are wrappers for many languages.
libpuzzle can be used to check image signatures in more detail than md5 if you really
want to be sure they are not detected as being duplicates.
You dont need to change the MD5 directly. MD5 is calculated based on the properties of image. Size, etc. So if the image is altered, then the MD5 changes.
When a website checks to see if the images are reproduced, they use a simple API to compare. Nothing fancy.
To alter in bulk, you can use IRFanView which will also rename the file if you like in addition to modifying the colors, resize, rotate, etc

I tried that MD5 changer software, but it all full of Trojan on virustotal, any thoughts?! The owner in BHW also and said that is false positive, but I still wanna hear others thoughts.
