Give http://animoto.com a try I've used to produce some great videos and easy to use.

Can produce :30 sec videos for free but need to pay for longer. Personally short can work great and I would nto go over :60 anyway...peeps on youtube have short attention span.

Once you load your pics, audio, text..whatever and produce video upload it to youtube direct from their site.

THEN... download and save the video you just uploaded to youtube onto you pc using a free video downloader you can get a free plugin for firefox that will download videos.

animoto wont let you save videos for FREE version is why you must upload to youtube and then download to your pc.

The reason you want to EDIT the video you produced is because it's good to REMOVE the animoto generated info/logo at the end of your videos. Do this so viewers dont get distracted by the animoto branding at end of your video.

Use a free video editor..even windows movie maker will do trick to remove the end stuff..thats basically all you want to edit is that end branding part of theirs.

Once edited save file and upload your CLEAN VIDEO to tube or all video sites for that matter.

I came across a descent online video production site like animoto the other day but cant find the name. thought I bookmarked but lost it I guess. If I think of it I'll let you know.

I still use the relic adobe premiere....have to do some conversions but I'm use to it

Yea..he did say software and what you guys posted are viable and work great.

For advanced stuff I use Sony Vegas however when it comes to short promo videos and what not the learning curve of some of these is far from fast.

Animoto will produce a video as nice if not better than what the example he used shows and anyone can get a video together in minutes first time outta the gate.

Time is money

I like using Camtasia but there is another one which does several other things as well and that's Jing.

Go with Wiz' advice.

I use Sony Vegas and the learning curve for simple vids isn't that steep.
I still have learning Premiere on my To-Do-List.... (can't find the time for it) as that gives you even more features for advanced vid creation.

Ulead Video Studio 10 is my choice.
