Which shared hosting provider is the fastest ?

I wouldn't touch shared hosting for money sites anymore. Cloud hosting is the way.

I use WPX and it's great for speed, customer service etc etc. Siteground would be another option though for sure.

I have no idea why anyone suggested Namecheap, other than to increase post count.
 
My vote for siteground but it costly as compare to other hosting providers.
 
it depends on your target location, all hosting that is on top of each other can be said to be slightly different in terms of speed because they can all be said to be tier 1 in hosting providers,
But for me I'm using namecheap rightnow with target EU US also Asia its work smooth ;)

They are as cheap as $8-10/year and are extremely reliable with the great support team.

Are you available to pay me, if namecheap doesn't accomplish the "100% warrant" ? Of course not.
How you can guarantee uptime? You can't. A DDoS Attack in your website, if you go down. Is considered downtime.
 
Fastest shared hosting provider is based upon you and your needs. However from all of the above i suggest Namecheap.
 
What are you using them for? If just a website then a lot of them are integrated with CloudFlare and/or LiteSpeed server.
Cheap shared hosting with CloudFlare is still stupid fast for HTML/WordPress sites. In many cases you can cache the entire site on CloudFlare.
You'll run into trouble running EComm though, or membership sites, or anything that requires people to be able to login and get unique info (ie "my account" etc).
But for a regular "website" website, it's great.
