Which SERP Tool Can Be Trusted?

My positions reported by SerpBook, Serpfox, and SheerSEO are a few hundreds lower than those from Link-Assistant Rank Tracker and CuteRank. Rank Tracker and CuteRank numbers are inline with Chrome Incognito search results (signed out and using US proxies). The fact that there seems a clear division between web apps and desktop programs makes me wonder which group I should trust.

While the majority of reviews for SerpBook (and Serpfox) are positive, there are people complaining about them being inaccurate. How does your experience go? To what extent do you trust those web SERP apps? Do their numbers closely correlate with the actual visits?

raventool worked for me before few months back
 
Serpbook is pretty accurate and quick in updating too. Serpfox is also accurate enough but it updates with some delay. So you can choose anyone of it.
 
scrapebox has a rank tracker that works very well. if you dont already have scrapebox you should get it.

Did you remove depersonalization and are the countries you are tracking on same with both your web-based and app-based SERP checkers?

If Google thinks the keyword is a local term it may adjust the results based on the location of the IP address.
 
The web SERP tools are tracking google, which should default to US -- correct me if I'm wrong. I just discovered GeoRanker, which has explicit country (and even city) support, today and just started to play with it.

As for the desktop SERP tools, the results are all from US -- CuteRank doesn't support proxy, but the server itself is in US. And Rank Tracker and Chrome Incognito search results from both the server itself and via US proxies do not differ much.
 
I have used cuterank and it is not accurate. Currently using serpbook and it has a good accuracy.

Well, the difference would vary by term. If you want to track a generic, possibly-local-oriented term like "pizza" there could be quite a difference (at least in the top results).

If you use a "US proxy" that is located in Brooklyn the top results will be for pizza restaurants near Brooklyn. If you open up Chrome Incognito (without proxy), but are located in Dallas then the top results will be for restaurants in Dallas.

I have tested all platforms out there and the only one with 100% accuracy is GeoRanker. Best is that it can generate reports by cities and countries also and looks perfect for my Local SEO needs

Not all web tools explicitly track the US Google.com - for example SerpBook can track Google regions around the world, as well as simulate a search from a GeoLocation (Zip Code).

I use SerpBook for all of my clients' SEO reports, I simply schedule out email reports and forget about it.
 
I've had better tracking accuracy with serpbook than link-assistant rank, kind of disappointed in link-assistant rank.
